He proposed to Berry with a beautiful diamond and emerald ring during the holiday season. Martinez is a French actor who met Berry while filming "Dark Tide." According to US weekly, they began dating in 2010.

Berry has been married twice before, first to baseball player David Justice in 1993 and then to R&B singer Eric Benet in 2001. She has a three year old daughter, Nahla, from her previous relationship of five years to model Gabriel Aubry. Martinez previously dated Kylie Minogue.
