New Baby Doll Toy Can Birth Its Own Fetus Plus a Pic of My Bundle of Joy!

I haven't done a post in a while due to the fact that I was preparing to have my daughter. My husband has been asking when I was going to post something new. Well she's finally here and she is a smart, healthy, and beautiful three week old! I'm going to have a proud parent moment so I'm going to show her off to you all right here!

Now being a new mommy, I have been shocked with all the craziness that parents are going through. As I was randomly checking out my Facebook, the most random thing popped up that just through me for a loop and I just had to do some research on it!

For those of you that think that the end is near, this news I am about to tell you may confirm it. Remember when parents were outraged when the pregnant Midge Barbie Doll came out? Well now doll designer Darren Cullen has taken it to another level with a pregnant baby doll.

Yep...a BABY DOLL!!!

Cullen's controversial work of art will be on display at the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art from October 26th to January 12th for the "Moral Holiday" show. There is also a doll that carries twins as well.

With all of the debate going on about his inspiration for the doll, he put this on his website:

It seems like the majority of news websites covering this have misunderstood my intentions and decided I'm making a comment on reality tv shows exploiting teen pregnancies. I'm not. It's about the way these toys intrinsically train girls to have and care for children while they are still only children themselves.

I guess in a sense he is right. Little girls are subliminally trained to care and nurture children when parents buy these types of toys for them. Honestly I never had that maternal urge as a child. I had a few dolls but I was more of a race car girl when I was younger. Some of these girls get a little too obsessed and are determined  to have the real thing. I see on Maury and the Steve Wilkos Show all the time.

Hopefully this doll won't be on the shelves at your local toy store anytime soon. I could only imagine how baby fever would escalate among preteens!

Mama Dee and Her Spelling...SMH! B-I-C-T-H...In the Wrong Order!

Just when you thought Mama Dee couldn't get any crazier. Last night's episode of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta was the talk of all the social networks. Aside from JoMiVie triangle, we all discover that the oldest cast member apparently wasn't the spelling bee champ in school. While Scrappy was trying to get some advice from his mother about getting back with Erica or moving forward with Shay, his mother had no problem telling him how she feels about the situation. Mama Dee is still upset that Erica didn't go with Scrappy to the hospital. She repeatedly called Erica a b---- and attempted to "spell out" her point.

I find this to be a big contradiction on Mama Dee's part. How can you tell your son not to let Stevie J disrespect the mother of your child, but you do? From watching the show we can see that Scrappy is a drama king and we all can see his lies and manipulating tactics that he uses on all three of the women in his life. I need for him to get it together and his mother to stop giving him advice. He is better off writing to the Dear Abby section in the newspaper. As for his mother, stop hovering over him and step up your vocabulary game.

16 Year Old Remakes Beyonce's "Countdown" Video

Now this is talent! 

Sixteen year old Ton Do-Nguyen filmed, shot, edited and starred in almost dead on remake of Beyonce's Countdown video. The teenager from Pennsylvania was on point with the original video from the special effects to the dance moves and facial expressions. Even King Bey had to post something herself called him "brillant" on her Tumblr page.

Nguyen worked on the video for months, starting in November then scrapping the video and starting from scratch. In the video we see him in a snuggie. Not only is it cute and funny, it also served as a blue screen to help the novice video editor with the color changes flashing throughout the video.

When asked about Beyonce's reaction to the video, Nguyen was screaming with excitement and emotional. He said, "I'm just so honored that she's seen it already and I don't know what to think.

Congrats kiddo. That's awesome that at such a young age that he has the skills of a professional. We'll probably see more from him.

A Shooting Massacre In Colorado Leaves 12 Dead, Many Others Injured. and Several Buildings Shut Down

Last night was the premiere of the newest Batman movie, "The Dark Knight Rises." While many around the country were enjoying the midnight screenings of the movie, many folks in Aurora, Colorado were running from the gas and bullets flying at the Century Movie Theater.



Many people didn't know what was going on at first. Some thought the shots were firecrackers or sound effects from the other movies playing. It wasn't until the sight of people running and ducking out of one of the screening rooms that others knew what was going on. Witness Jennifer Seeger said that the gunman appeared to be wearing SWAT gear and kept firing only to stop when he needed to reload. "There were bullet (casings) falling on my forehead," she said. "They were burning my forehead."

People running out of the theater to escape were being shot at by the gumnan standing at the door wearing a gas mask. Police have identified the man as 24 year old James Holmes. C U Denver have released that Holmes just recently withdrew from their Neuroscience program last week.

SAY WHAT?!?!

The FBI currently have him in custody. At least three firearms were on the suspect. There are reports that he has set up his apartment complex as well. Police had people evacuating the area. Five buildings around the area have been shut down as well.

Originally reported was 14 people were killed in the incident. It is now being announced that 12 were killed with 10 of the deceased dying on the scene. Many others were injured including a 6 year old and 3 month old that was shot in the back.

This is crazy. I literally just watched this on a an episode of the show, "The Closer" last week! It was almost the same scenario except it happened in the mall and it WASN'T REAL (It was season 4,episode 10). I am guessing the shooter must have seen this episode too. I wish people weren't this crazy in real life. SMH. 2012 is that year for foolishness I guess. Get It Together!

I hate to say this but I can't stop watching Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. The first episode had me thinking the show was scripted. However with all the drama I see around my friends and on the news anything is possibly so I keep tuning in every week.

On the show, Karlie Redd has been in the spotlight lately not for her talents, but the drama that starts with her. Every episode she comes across as an instigator and a liar. Up until this week's episode we didn't really hear any of her music (if that's what you want to call that singing she did for Stevie J...smh).

The Queen Barbie Nicki Minaj Deletes Her Twitter

Oh no!

 Nicki Minaj has disappeared from over her 11 million followers on Twitter. On Sunday the YMCM rapper deleted her acount from the social network after a beef between her and her number one fan site NickiDaily.com .
Apparently the site leaked her music off of her new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Feeling disrespected, Minaj blocked them from her twitter page sparking a war going back and forth between the two and fans to take sides. 

The responses she got from some of her fans may not have been a positive one because then she tweeted "And that's exactly why I'm paying the barbz DUST right now! And deleting my twitter. Smdh - don't cry 4 me Argentina.

Now I don't know if it's from the criticism of her album or what but I know Nicki couldn't take something anymore. It seemed like she was having a mini meltdown on twitter. What I do know is that she has 30 days to reactive her account or she will lose all of her followers permanently. Maybe she can start over with  some happy Barbz and not some hater/jealous Skippers! :)

I'm going to be honest. I wasn't really feeling some of the songs on the album but you can't lie: They are catchy. Sometimes I find myself saying the hook to"Beez in the Trap" from time to time. I guarantee you have heard her music everywhere especially since she has a different song that can fit with any genre of music for any type of radio station. I am waiting for her to make a country music debut.

Let's just hope she calms down.

17 Year Old Black Teen is Murdered Over a Bag of Skittles and Man Stills Walks Around Freely

Trayvon Martin, a 17 year old junior in high school was gunned down last month by neighborhood watch captain, George Zimmerman. Even though Zimmerman has confessed to shooting Martin, he still remains free.

Martin was staying with his father and step-mother in their gated community in Florida. According to the family's lawyer, Ben Crump, Martin was going to the store during halftime of the NBA All-Star Game to buy some snacks for him and his little brother Chad including some skittles. As he was walking back from the store to the gated community his father resides in, the Sandford police received phone calls of a suspicious person walking around the neighborhood. Even though the name of the caller had been blacked out on police reports, Crump states that it was Zimmerman who made the call.

Instead of waiting for police to arrive, Zimmerman took it upon himself to confront Trayvon. No one knows the conversation between the teen and the self appointed "Neighborhood Watch Captain," but when police

arrived on the scene Trayvon was on the ground dead from a gunshot to the chest. When they checked his body, they found an Arizona Tea and a bag of skittles. Trayvon was very much unarmed.

The family has requested the 911 tapes to get an understanding of what happened but the police refuse to release them. Police Chief Bill Lee said that the 911 tapes have not been releases because they contain critical information. Detectives feel that they will influence the testimony of possible witnesses.

Many family members as well as residents of the neighborhood are upset that no arrest has been made.

Joe Paterno Passes Away at 85.

It has been confirmed that a football legend has passed this morning.

Penn State's former football coach, Joe Paterno, has passed earlier this morning. The 85 year old coach who is known for winning more games than any other major-college football coach suffered from lung cancer. He was diagnosed in November of last year after he was let go by Penn State for his involvement in Jerry Sandusky's sex abuse scandal (Many people felt he should have done more to stop it from happening). His family released a statement:

"He died as he lived. He fought hard until the end, stayed positive, thought only of others and constantly reminded everyone of how blessed his life had been. His ambitions were far reaching, but he never believed he had to leave this Happy Valley to achieve them. He was a man devoted to his family, his university, his players and his community."          

Paterno made many accomplishments as the head coach of Penn State's football team. He a national coach of the year five times. He also had five unbeaten/untied teams, as well as leading Penn State to be ranked No. 1 in both 1982 and 1986.

Halle Berry is engaged to wed Oliver Martinez as stated in the Huffington Post. He proposed to Berry with a beautiful diamond and emerald ring during the holiday season. Martinez is a French actor who met Berry while filming "Dark Tide." According  to US weekly, they began dating in 2010.

Kappas and Omegas Come Together for Obama

The brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity and Omega Psi Phi fraternity are coming together to form a Super PAC, or Political Action Committee to help re-elect President Barack H. Obama during the 2012 campaign as reported by NewsOne. 

Super PACs were established in 2010. They give independent committees permission to raise and spend unlimited amouts of funds to either promote for or against a political candidate. Rightfully named "1911 United" (both fraternities were founded in 1911 for those that aren't aware), the organization "aims to raise $1.5 million toward training and organizing African-American voters in key battleground states to re-elect President Obama." according to Sinclair Skinner, treasurer of the committee.


Though 1911 United is focusing on "racially diverse swing states," the group intends to go anywhere needed. According to the Root, a delegation team will be sent to New Hampshire next week during primaries to help campaign for Obama.

I love when organizations come together and help one another. A fist is stronger than a finger...think about it.

Real Love: Nick Cannon is in the Hospital While Wife MiMi is by His Side!

Nick Cannon might be able to leave the hospital today. According to the L.A. Times Blog, Cannon was in the hospital for kidney failure while vacationing in Aspen, Colorado earlier last week. He was transferred to an undisclosed hospital in L.A. where he had surgery that required no sedation. 

Mariah Carey has been there every step of the way for her man. Queen MiMi posted a picture of her laying by her man's side (literally) on her official website a few days along with a few thoughts about the situation her husband is going through.

"We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful." Mariah writes. "They tried to kick me out of the hospital but here I am pon de bed with Mr. C." No cause of the kidney failure has been reported.

Beyonce and Jay-Z Welcome Blue Ivy Carter to the Dynasty

Thanks to Rihanna, everyone now has confirmation that Beyonce has given birth last night and not earlier this week as it has been falsely reported. Rihanna tweeted earlier, "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih." for all her fans to see. 

Beyonce and Jay-Z now have a baby girl by the name of Blue Ivy Carter according to The New York Daily News. It is reported that the couple paid almost $1.3 million to rent out an entire floor at Lenox Hill Hospital. They also mentioned that employees were forced to hand over their cell phones as they showed up for their shift and security cameras were covered with tape to maintain the couple's privacy. 

According to the NY Daily and several other press outlets, a staff member of the hospital claims Beyonce checked in the hospital as "Ingrid Jackson" for a scheduled c-section.

No word on any other details yet.

Deceased Teenager is Sued for Body Parts Flying

Wow oh wow!

For those of you that think you're in the clear in the afterlife guess again. An appeals court in Illinois has determined that the estate of a teenager killed by a train in 2008 can be held liable for injuries caused to a bystander who was struck by his body parts.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Hiroyuki Joho, 18, was struck by a southbound Amtrak train that was traveling at 70mph as he was trying to catch a Metra train. It was then a significant amount of his body went flying in the air, striking 58 year old, Gayane Zokhrabov, while she was waiting for the train to go to work.

Initially, a Cook County judge dismissed the suit against Joho's estate, but was recently appealed in a state appeals court. Leslie Rosen, the attorney handling the appeal for Zokhrabov, stated, "If you do something as stupid as this guy did, you have to be responsible for what comes from it."

This "guy" was an eighteen year old...a teenager. You would think she could choose better words.

I guess we all have to be prepared for ANY situation.

     Just when you thought that the Bieber drama ended, Mariah Yeater is back again. Though she has dropped her lawsuit with Justin Bieber, she is still demanding a paternity test outside of court.

“I dropped my lawsuit, but never my claim. I still definitely want a DNA test and I want to refile my paternity case -- I do believe he is the father,” Yeater told the Chicago Sun-Times. 


     Last year Yeater claimed she conceived her son, Tristyn Anthony Markhouse Yeater, with Justin Bieber after a 30 second fling with the pop star at his October, 25 2010 concert at the Staples Center.

     In November, when speaking up about the allegations on The Today Show, Bieber said "I know I'm going to be a target, but I'm never going to be a victim. It's crazy, every night after the show I've gone right from the stage right to my car, so it's crazy some people want to make up such false allegations. But to set the record straight, none of it is true."

     Another person claiming that Yeater is lying is her ex-boyfriend Robert Powell.He claims that baby Tristyn is his, not Bieber's. He told RumorFix, "She lied." This was a scheme for them both to make money for their child.“She just picked him, because she thought he was famous and all and thought she could get a lot of money by telling the magazine Justin was the father. She just saw him as an opportunity to make a lot of money,” She sold her story to a tabloid for $50,000. She has still not put down a name for a father on her son's birth certificate either leaving everything a mystery. 

Maybe the late Michael Jackson was right. Some people will do anything for money...
