PIPA (Protect IP Act) and SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) are two laws up for approval by the Senate being protested by many business. Not because the laws prevent piracy and other illegal activities, but because the laws are too broad and can be easily manipulated to shut down many online businesses and entrepreneurs. Even GOOGLE has joined in on the protest. You can check out their petition here.
