Oh So Random! Woman in Missouri Told to Cut Dreadlocs Off For Newly Enacted Company Policy After Being Hired Two Months Ago With The Same Style!

It's 2013 and it seems that natural hair is still taboo in CORPORATE America...

A woman in St. Louis, Ashley Davis was told that she was to cut off her dread locks she has been growing for the past 10 years due to a change in company policy.

This is the same style she was wearing when she was hired...TWO MONTHS AGO!

WHAAAAAAAAAT?

Her supervisor has even praised her for her performance at work. The style is very important to her. Everyone in her family wears their hair in locs.

I think that it is funny that they change the policy after she was hired. Also she is the only one working for the company with locs...
Shady.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with them. I think any hairstyle can be worn if you properly take care of your hair (i.e. wash, retwist, recoil, braid, curl-whatever style your hair). Even straight hair can look sloppy.

What do you think? Is this fair to her?
