The singer and Real Housewives of Atlanta star tied the knot with her beau, Todd Tucker yesterday evening. The two were introduced by co-star Phaedra Parks during the fourth season of the show after she was told that she would meet her husband during the ladies' infamous trip to Africa.

The ceremony took place in Atlanta and guest were expected to wear purple. Some of the BRIDEmaids bridesmaids included fellow Xscape member Tameka "Tiny" Harris, rapper and Love and Hip Hop star Rasheeda Frost, singer Fantasia, and of course lady cupid Phaedra Parks.



I'm so proud of Mama Joyce! She let Kandi and Todd get married in peace!

At least that's what I am hoping.

According to Wendy Williams, entertainment lawyer Phaedra Parks' spin-off show, Rich People Problems, is getting the ax from Bravo.

I'm not really feeling this new NeNe Leakes that decided to show up on season 6 of Real Housewives of Atlanta, but I'm not mad at her for using her platform to get her more gigs in Hollywood.

Not only is the Athens, Georgia native on this season of ABC's Dancing With the Stars, she also appeared on Naomi Campbell's The Face.

The Hollywood mogul is at it again with a new movie entitled The Single Mom's Club.The film is about five single moms  putting aside their differences to help inspire and encourage each other with their own support group. Stars in the movie include Nia Long (Best Man Holiday), Amy Smart (television show Shameless), Wendi McLendon-Covey (Bridesmaids), Cocoa Brown (Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse) and Zulay Henao (Tyler Perry's Love Thy Neighbor).

 Last year wasn't the best year for President Obama...

Many major bills that he wanted to pass were shut down by congress. Last night the President addressed the nation with plans to improve the welfare of our country. Topics discussed included immagration, jobs, energy, manufacturing, the economy and unemployment.



On the progress of the economy of the nation President Obama had this to say:

Today, after four years of economic growth, corporate profits and stock prices have rarely been higher, and those at the top have never done better.  But average wages have barely budged.  Inequality has deepened.  Upward mobility has stalled.  The cold, hard fact is that even in the midst of recovery, too many Americans are working more than ever just to get by – let alone get ahead.  And too many still aren't working at all.

President Obama wants to work with Congress on making these changes, but he doesn't mind using his executive powers to get the job done.

“The question for everyone in this chamber, running through every decision we make this year, is whether we are going to help or hinder this progress.  For several years now, this town has been consumed by a rancorous argument over the proper size of the federal government.  It’s an important debate – one that dates back to our very founding.  But when that debate prevents us from carrying out even the most basic functions of our democracy – when our differences shut down government or threaten the full faith and credit of the United States – then we are not doing right by the American people...I’m eager to work with all of you. But America does not stand still and neither will I. So wherever and whenever I can take steps without legislation to expand opportunity for more Americans families, that’s what I’m going to do.”

Pebbles Makes an Official Statement Concerning Her Portrayal in TLC Movie

A lot of back and forth bickering has been going on between hit group TLC and their former manager.

The members of TLC-T-boz, Left Eye and Chili, have always been very candid about the role that their former manager Perri "Pebbles" Reid played in their road to bankruptcy.

Luckily I have been distracted by watching Super Fun Night.

Do you know that Obamacare and the Affordable Care Act are the same thing?

Unfortunately a lot of people don't and are misinformed by these biased media outlets.

Because of this we are facing a government shutdown with many people out of work until Congress (who are still getting paid) get themselves together.

Obamacare is actually the nickname of the Affordable Care Act. It seems that Jimmy Kimmel and his team were aware of this and decided to test random folks' knowledge about the healthcare act that has people in such an uproar. They were asked which healthcare act they would rather have and the responses were amazing!

It was bizarre to hear people talk about how they like one over the other especially choosing the ACA over Obamacare the most. The response one woman gave was that Obamacare seems to have "too many holes" in it.
