As I was up waiting to watch the encore of last night's new episode of  American Horror Story: Coven (great show by the way), I happened to click through the channels to see Anderson Cooper's show on CNN talking about everyone's favorite bipartisan Governer. However this story may change your mind.

Allegedly Governor Christie's office ordered to close lanes in Fort Lee, NJ causing major traffic jams on the George Washington Bridge, one of the busiest bridges.  It is claimed that the lane closings were payback to the city's democratic mayor's refusal to endorse Christie. As CNN reported, Governor Christie was the "best hope" for Republicans to win the White House in 2016.



Christie claims that he was unaware of his camp being involved in this sticky situation. An investigation has been opened to get to what really happened. However Ft. Lee's Mayor, Mark Sokolich had this to say on Wolf Blitzer's show:

After the George Zimmerman trial a lot of articles were coming up about race in America. As I was scrolling on the internet looking up random things like I always do, I came across a very interesting article about stereotypes and perception.

Most people are familiar with the young black male that was caught joy riding in his grandmother's car because he "likes to do bad things." The same incident happened with a young white male. Instead of criminalizing this child, his deviance was portrayed as something cute and innocent.

The article interested me even more because it was written by a Caucasian woman, Dr. Lisa Wade. Dr. Wade is a professor at Occidental College as well as the Chair of the Sociology Department there. She inspires her students and the public to "think sociologically."

On a happier note this tragic weekend, a little girl that was abducted in Lancaster, PA is now safe and sound thanks to Temar Boggs.

The fifteen year old and his friends were helping out an elderly woman in the neighborhood when they found out that five year old Jocelyn Rojas was missing.

Last week Food Network decided not to renew Paula Deen's contract after her court deposition revealed that she has used the n-word as well as discussing her slave themed Shirley Temple/Plantation inspired wedding reception for her brother Bubba.


Smithfield Foods is following suit dropping Deen as a spokeswoman for their brand. They sell ham with her face on the packaging.

However some companies are still standing by Paula Deen.

Royal Carribean got so many requests to reserve a spot for their annual "Paula Deen Cruise" that they had to add an extra departure in 2014.

4 Dead After Murder-Suicide Took Place in South St. Louis, MO

This is crazy!

Four people were shot dead at AK Home Healthcare, LLC, a health care business located at the Cherokee Place Business Incubator in South St. Louis this afternoon.

 

Two were men and two were women all in their 40s and 50s. All of them were involved with the business. Police believe the gunman may have been one of the business owners.

Melissa Lawrence attacked Abbey Niezgoda and photojournalist Marc Jackson with rocks and her dogs while the two were on a assignment to interview her.

They were there to get a reaction from her after they young man that shot Lawrence's teenage daughter in the back had turned himself in. An altercation erupted during a graduation party hosted at house a few days ago.
