Really? George Zimmerman's Lawyers Want to Ban Words That Make Him Look Bad From Trial

Why isn't this man locked up already?

George Zimmerman's lawyers are at it again. First they leaked items from Trayvon Martin's phone (a sneaky move from the murderer's team). Now they are requesting that any negative descriptions of Zimmerman be banned from opening statements.

They are calling words and phrases such as “Self-appointed Neighborhood Watch Captain” and "Wannabe Cop" to be "inflammatory terms." Defense Mark O' Mara says, “Some of these terms are disparaging, inappropriate, and if used in trial would serve only to unfairly prejudice the jury by eliciting unfounded connotations and unfair emotional responses.”

I guess shooting a kid you had no business following isn't the same thing huh?

For those of you living in a box, George Zimmerman is the man who killed 17 year old Trayvon Martin after he was told by police not to confront the teenager walking to his father's house after leaving the store to buy some candy and tea.

Should prosecutors be forced to play nice in their opening remarks?

  1. So let a man do the same thing to his 17yr old son (if/when he has one), and we would see a different reaction. No one has the right to take a life and for those who feel they do should suffer. The consequence should be equal for all offenders of the law no matter the race (of him/her or the victim). Alright, people keep letting these crazies go off easy, when y'all find yourselves in a f'd up country/world look in the mirror and blame yourself.
